ASTM International Exo Technology Center of Excellence Publishes Third Annual Report
Today, ASTM International’s Exo Technology Center of Excellence (ET CoE) published its third annual report which overviews the organization’s vision, team, partnerships, acceleration projects, accomplishments, and key metrics.
The annual report, available here, provides information on the efforts and activities of the Center and its partners. This includes the inaugural Exo Games, numerous research-to-standards projects, and the Global Survey of Medical Professionals Using Medical Exoskeletons. In addition, it recounts various significant training, education, and workforce development activities that took place over the past year.
“What an exciting and groundbreaking year for the Center and our partners,” said William Billotte, Ph.D., ASTM International director of global exo technology programs. “Through many years of hard work and dedication, we were able to hold the world’s first Exo Games which empowered students from all over the globe to be involved and passionate about exoskeletons and standards. This event and all our other efforts plant the seeds that will help us reach the mission of people living their best lives thanks to exoskeleton technology.”
Established in 2019, ASTM’s Center of Excellence in Exo Technology (ET CoE) focuses on accelerating exo standards through research, education, workforce development, training, certifications, and connecting global exo communities.
