ASTM International Honors Raul Dominguez with Waste Management Award
ASTM International’s waste management committee (D34) has awarded its B. Charles Malloy Award to Raul Dominguez, Jr., senior air quality chemist with the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
The award is given in memory of the founder and past chair of D34, whose activities led to the growth and improvement of the committee and increased its influence in the field of waste management. It honors exceptional effort and inspirational leadership contributing to the maintenance and growth of the committee through exemplary dedication to the ASTM consensus process.
Raul was recognized for his decades of experience and expertise as an air quality chemist, and his valuable leadership within ASTM committees.
An ASTM International member since 1997, Raul has been previously honored with various awards, including two committee D03 outgoing chairman awards (2009, 2019), the Richard E. Stern Award (2011), the Award of Merit (2014), the George W. Luciw Award of Excellence (2017) and the committee D22 Award of Appreciation (2022).
