ASTM International Honors Matthew Innocenzi with Top Annual Award

ASTM International presented its top annual award – the Award of Merit – to Matthew Innocenzi for his contributions to ASTM’s committee on gypsum and related building materials and systems (C11). 

The prestigious award, which includes the accompanying title of fellow, is ASTM’s highest recognition for distinguished service and outstanding participation in ASTM International committee activities. Innocenzi was recognized for his refined technical acumen, astute conduct in the creation of standards, and measured negotiation of tough industry issues.

An ASTM International member since 2003, Innocenzi had been previously honored by the committee with the Award of Appreciation (2018)

Innocenzi is currently principal at Nick Innocenzi and Sons Consulting Engineers & Associates, LLC in Warrenton, Virginia, a position he’s held since 2015. Prior to starting his own firm, he spent 16 years as an engineer at WDP & Associates after receiving bachelor of science and master of engineering degrees from Virginia Tech. He has authored and co-authored numerous white papers and presentations on stucco and the building envelope.
