ASTM International Ships and Marine Technology Committee Presents Award to Regina Farr

ASTM International’s ships and marine technology committee (F25) honored Regina Farr, program analyst with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration (Washington, DC, USA), with the John Nachtsheim Award.

An ASTM International member since 2016, Farr was honored for her outstanding contribution to the committee and her technical expertise in the development and maintenance of commercial consensus standards in support of the maritime industry. 

Farr has served in her current position since 1995, having previously served as a data systems manager at the Shipbuilders Council of America. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Maryland University College.
