ASTM International Sponsors Summer Camp at the Fellowship House of Conshohocken

ASTM International has made a $10,200 donation to sponsor an eight-week summer camp program at the Fellowship House of Conshohocken. The program serves the needs of approximately 60 children ages 5 to 12 five days a week and also features a basketball program with more than 200 young athletes.

The overall mission of the Fellowship House is to provide recreation and education opportunities for the citizens of Conshohocken and the surrounding areas. Children who attend the summer programs are either borough residents or attend nearby schools such as Colonial Elementary, Plymouth Elementary and Ridge Park Elementary in the Colonial School District.

Daily camp activities include sports, games, swimming, and arts and crafts, as well as field trips to local attractions such as the Franklin Institute, Merrymead Farm, the Philadelphia Museum of Art,  the Philadelphia Museum of Natural Science, the Reading Phillies and the Riverbend Environmental Education Center. The latest donation made by ASTM provided assistance for these activities and allowed the basketball league to purchase much-needed new equipment.
