ASTM Standards Related to Candles and Accessories is now available from ASTM International.  This CD-ROM contains the complete set of the six ASTM candle standards and the six standards referenced in those standards. 

The standards included provide a comprehensive listing of all performance requirements for candles and candle accessories, including labeling requirements for candles and some accessories; fire safety performance requirements for candles and candle accessories; and annealing requirements for glass containers used with candles.  Test methods for testing candles and associated items are also featured.

ASTM Standards Related to Candles and Accessories also includes 16 CFR 1500.121, which details the federal prominence and placement requirements for labels. Intended users of the compilation include manufacturers, retailers, importers, federal, state and local government agencies, trade associations, consumer groups and legal groups.
