ASTM International’s pesticides, antimicrobials, and alternative control agents committee (E35) presented its 2023 Chip Collins Memorial Award to David Lindsay, technical consultant at Formulogics.



The award honors tireless dedication through the founding and development of ASTM committee E35 and subcommittee E35.22, the founding of ASTM subcommittee E35.22 on symposium, and leadership in the development of multiple standards through the years.

An ASTM International member since 1973, David specializes in agricultural formulations, and prior to becoming a technical consultant with Formulogics, he was manager of applied research, interface and performance at Evonik (Hopewell, VA) until 2013.

Collins received his bachelor of arts in chemistry (1965) from Rutgers and master of science and Ph.D. in physical chemistry (1973) from Clarkson University.
