ASTM International Honors Brad Finley with Top Annual Award

ASTM International presented its top annual award – the Award of Merit – to Brad Finley for his contributions to ASTM’s committee on corrosion of metals (G01). 

The prestigious award, which includes the accompanying title of fellow, is ASTM’s highest recognition for distinguished service and outstanding participation in ASTM International committee activities. Finley was recognized for his leadership, prowess as a negotiator, and extensive inter-organizational work to harmonize corrosion standards.

An ASTM International member since 2007, Finley had been previously honored by the committee with two Awards of Appreciation (2012, 2014).

Finley currently serves as vice president of Metal Samples Co., a position he has held since 2003. In 1993, he graduated from Gadsden State Community College with an associate of technology in industrial electronics technology. His other professional memberships include the Associate of Water Technologies, the American Water Works Association, and the Association for Materials Protection and Performance.
