ASTM International’s pesticides, antimicrobials, and alternative control agents committee (E35) honored Carol Vincent, senior clinical manager with Unilever R&D (Trumbull, CT, USA), with the Chip Collins Memorial Award. 

An ASTM International member since 1997, Vincent was recognized for her exemplary leadership at the executive level and her long-time contributions to the subcommittee on antimicrobial agents (E35.15).

Vincent has served in her current position since 2017. She joined Unilever R&D in 1984 and has served in a variety of roles including senior scientist, principal scientist, and clinical manager. 

Vincent holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology and a master’s degree in computer science, both from Fairleigh Dickinson University. 

In addition to ASTM International, Vincent is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists.
