Registration is now open for ASTM International’s Workshop on Cannabis Medicine Quality – Barriers, Gaps, and Opportunities for Global Standards, to be held June 10, 2024, in Philadelphia, PA. The event is sponsored by ASTM International’s cannabis committee (D37) and will be held in conjunction with the committee’s standards development meetings.
The objective of the workshop is to:
- Discuss pressing issues around the medical and scientific use of cannabis, as identified in the USP-ASTM workshop recommendations report;
- Develop an action plan for the development of standards and practices for these uses;
- Build the capacity of D37 membership with a focus on medical and scientific use;
- And extend D37's network and increase membership opportunities for experts in these uses.
