ASTM International TC Meetings Event in Prague, Czech Republic

The D24 carbon black subcommittees that are meeting include sampling and statistics, rubber testing, and microscopy and morphology, as well as the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO TC 45/SC 3/WG 3 on Carbon Black. 
In addition to subcommittee meetings, task groups from Committee E55 on Manufacture of Pharmacuetical Products are meeting to discuss the development of key standards under development that focus on process validation and verification of Process Analytical Technology (PAT) methods for pharmaceutical products. 

Subcommittees meeting within Committee F02 on Flexible Barrier Packaging include chemical/safety properties and packaging design and development. On Wednesday, October 7, the committee will host a workshop on test methods for the packaging of medical devices. Highlights of the workshop include a case study of distribution guidelines and evaluation of testing protocols. 

Committee F40 on Declarable Substances in Materials regularly holds every third meeting outside of the United States. In Prague, the F40 subcommittees meeting are those on management practices and guides, test methods, terminology and monitoring and research of legislation and regulations. Committee F40 will also hold a workshop on Thursday, October 8.
