First place winners have their design imprinted on the T-shirts for their age group and receive a monetary award; second-place winners receive monetary prizes; and all campers receive a participation prize for submitting a design. In addition to the T-shirt contest, ASTM sponsored daily field trips to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Academy of Natural Sciences.
