ASTM International’s packaging committee (D10) has presented Richard Lund with its prestigious Alfred H. McKinlay Award.

This award is bestowed for the sustained and productive participation and leadership in Committee D10. With over 37 years of service, Richard has brought technical and administrative leadership through active participation as task group, subcommittee, and main committee positions.

An ASTM International member since 1986, Lund is also a member of the American Chemical Society, and Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Industry.

Lund’s career concentration is paperboard and corrugated box manufacture. He is currently owner and principal of RC Lund Consulting, LLC, which he has overseen since 2008, and his previous employers include Weyerhaeuser and Longview Fiber.
