ASTM International Committee on Road and Paving Materials Honors Raymond Pavlovich

Dr. Raymond D. Pavlovich, president, HRC Research Consultants, Inc., Katy, Texas, USA, was honored with the Prevost Hubbard Award from ASTM International’s committee on road and paving materials (D04). 

Pavlovich, who joined ASTM International in 1973, was honored for over 50 years of dedicated service and outstanding leadership in the development of statistically sound standards in the field of road and paving materials. The committee previously honored Pavlovich with the Service Award in 2007 and an honorary membership in 2006. 

Pavlovich has served in government, universities, and corporate positions as principal researcher and analyst. He holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wyoming, and a doctorate degree in materials engineering from Purdue University.  

In addition to ASTM International, Pavlovich has served as a committee member in several international organizations and presently serves as president of Nottingham Country Municipal Utility District in Katy, Texas.
