ASTM International Committee on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants Honors David R. Forester with Sydney D. Andrews Scroll of Achievement

David R. Forester, global product development manager with Fuel Quality Services, Inc., in Flowery Branch, Georgia, USA, has received the Sydney D. Andrews Scroll of Achievement from ASTM International Committee on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants (D02).
 
A member of ASTM since 1985, Forester was specifically recognized for his many contributions to advancing the aims of the committee. The committee has also honored Forester with the Award of Excellence in 2010, and the Lowrie B. Sargent, Jr. Award in 2015.
 
Forester, global product development manager with Fuel Quality Services, Inc., previously served as director of technical services with Power Service Products. He has also held positions with the Lubrizol Corp., Betz Laboratories, Edwin Cooper Inc., and Texaco. Forester holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.
 
In addition to ASTM International, Forester is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers, the International Association for Stability and Handling of Liquid Fuels, and the Coordinating Research Council.
