ASTM International Committee on Metallic-Coated Iron and Steel Products Honors Michael Kerner with Kenneth J. Boedecker, Jr. Distinguished Service Award

Michael Kerner, code development manager with ClarkDietrich Building Systems, in West Chester, Ohio, has received the Kenneth J. Boedecker, Jr. Distinguished Service Award from ASTM International Committee A05 on Metallic-Coated Iron and Steel Products.

The committee noted Kerner’s continuous and outstanding contributions to the development of standards on metallic-coated iron and steel. Committee A05 has also awarded Kerner with the Award of Appreciation in 2013. He also received the Award of Appreciation in 1999, 2008, and 2010 from Committee C11 on Gypsum and Related Building Materials.

Outside of ASTM, Kerner is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute.
