ASTM International’s Flagship Journal Receives Increased Impact Factor Rating

ASTM International announced today the Journal of Testing and Evaluation, the organization’s flagship journal, received an increased 2020 impact factor rating of 1.264, up nearly 45% from the previous year.

The impact factor is calculated each year by Clarivate Analytics and given to journals that appear in their database, Science Citation Index.

Launched in 1973, the journal is a multi-disciplinary forum for the applied sciences and engineering. It presents new technical information, derived from field and laboratory testing, on the performance, quantitative characterization, and evaluation of materials.

Featured papers present new methods and data along with critical evaluations, report users' experience with test methods and results of interlaboratory testing and analysis, and stimulate new ideas in the fields of testing and evaluation.

The Journal of Testing and Evaluation is available in Google Scholar, Science Citation Index, Scopus, and other scientific journal databases. For more information, click here.
