ASTM International’s Committee on Rubber and Rubber-Like Materials Honors Mohan Kosamia with D11 Distinguished Service Award

Mohan Kosamia, manager of Technical/R&D Services, at Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in South Chesterfield, Virginia, USA, has received the D11 Distinguished Service Award from ASTM International’s committee on Rubber and Rubber-Like Materials (D11).

The committee recognized Kosamia for his dedication and service to the development and maintenance of international standards for the rubber industry. An ASTM member since 1980, he has also received the Award of Achievement from committee D11 in 2007.

Kosamia received his master’s degree in organic chemistry from P.T. Science College in Surat, India in 1963. He has been manager of Technical/R&D Services at Church & Dwight Co., Inc. since 1987, and was an operation manager for Carter Wallace, in Trenton, New Jersey until 1996.

In addition to ASTM, Kosamia is a member of the American Chemical Society’s Rubber Division.
