ASTM International continues to sponsor a program that allows elementary school students from the Norristown School District to visit Riverbend Environmental Center in Gladwyne, Pa., as part of their science curriculum.

During this visit, Whitehall students learned about birds of the forest, decomposers, pollination and meadow exploration.

 On a trip to Riverbend on Oct. 21, 2009, fourth grade students from Conshohocken Elementary School learned about various types of rock and soil.
