Please see the following statement from ASTM International President Kathie Morgan on the passing of board member Oliver S. Delery, Jr. 

"Our deepest condolences are with the family and friends of Oliver S. Delery, Jr., a wonderful and brilliant person who passed away last Wednesday.  Oliver was a treasured member of our ASTM International family who had been serving on our board and who had just attended a meeting at our global headquarters.  He was also a respected leader and expert in construction and infrastructure who made invaluable contributions to his field and to the global standards community. Oliver’s contributions are a reminder that standards are about the people who make them and the relationships they build along the way.  Oliver epitomized that idea as a friend to all. We will miss him dearly, and our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him."
