Seminar on Imaging Photometry

ASTM International Committee E12 on Color and Appearance, presents an exciting seminar on Imaging Photometry on June 16, 2005, in Reno, Nev., from 3:15 - 5:00 p.m. during the E12.06 subcommittee meeting.  The presentation entitled, "Introduction to Imaging Photometry and Radiant Imaging, Inc." will present imaging photometry and colorimetry discussing the advantages and challenges of light and color measurement with CCD technology.  Radiant Imaging’s CCD based light and color measurement systems will be reviewed, including the ProMetric software which is used for calibration, measurement, and analysis.  Finally, several application specific solutions using Radiant CCD imaging colorimeters will be presented; such as, projection display testing systems and LED screen calibration systems.  The seminar will be presented by Mr. Douglas Kreysar, VP of Operations at Radiant Imaging.

As Vice-President of Operations at Radiant Imaging, Mr. Kreysar manages Corporate Operations including the oversight of production, engineering, and product development. Mr. Kreysar’s responsibilities include strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and the set-up and implementation of corporate, manufacturing, and product development processes and procedures.  Mr. Kreysar has utilized his engineering, optics, physics, mathematics, and management background in order to successfully implement new optical technology into production manufacturing systems, reduce design and manufacturing lead times, and improve overall product quality.

Mr. Kreysar received a B.S. in physics from Vanderbilt University and an M.S. in Applied Physics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  Doug is the author or co-author of ten technical papers and received an Excellence in Oral Presentation Award from the Society of Automotive Engineers.  He has been awarded three US patents.
