A new publication available from ASTM International, Manual 63, Just-About-Right (JAR) Scales: Design, Usage, Benefits, and Risks, is a comprehensive guide on the use of JAR scales in consumer testing, including their application, construction, analysis and interpretation. It also identifies the risks associated with the use of JAR scales and ways to reduce those risks.

A new edition of the popular ASTM Standards on Assessment and Remediation of Petroleum Release Sites is now available. 

An extensively updated edition of Manual 5, Aviation Fuel Quality Control Procedures, is now available from ASTM International.  The manual provides a complete explanation of several common procedures used by fuel handlers to assess and protect aviation fuel quality.

A new publication now available from ASTM International, ASTM Standards for Mechanical Fasteners and Related Processes: 2nd Edition, provides all of the standards developed by ASTM International Committee F16 on Fasteners. Compiled from more than 15 volumes of the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, the book also includes the most commonly referenced documents from the standards.

A new one-of-a-kind publication is now available from ASTM International. ASTM Standards for Welding includes all 59 active ASTM International standards referenced by the American Welding Society: Structural Welding Code D1.1, which covers any type of welded structure made from the commonly used carbon and low-alloy steels.

A new edition of ASTM International Standards on Color and Appearance Measurement is now available in print and online. The compilation provides 126 ASTM standards used in appearance analysis for a variety of materials and products, such as acoustical tile, petroleum products, paints and coatings, paper, plastics, textiles, traffic marking materials and pavement surfaces.
