Registration Open for Workshop on Transparent Enclosures and Materials

Registration is open for the Workshop on Transparent Enclosures and Materials, to be held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel (New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.). The event is organized by ASTM International’s committee F07 on Aerospace and Aircraft, in conjunction with the committee’s November standards development meetings.

The objective of this workshop is to provide the transparency community with up-to-date information on topics of interest and is an ideal setting for exchanging ideas with others in the transparent materials community. Confirmed presentations in the program include:

  • “Comparing Grid Line Slope to Mathematical Divergence of Intersection Points,” by Matthew Thomas, Boeing
  • “Non-Fluoro Surface Seal Rain Repellant Coating,” by Wei Wang, PPG
  • “Design Requirements for Helicopter Transparencies,” by Honmartin Au-Yeung, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp.
  • “The Physics of Bird Impact,” by Dan Bowman, UDRI

The workshop will be in-person only. Virtual attendance is not an option, and the workshop will not be recorded for viewing afterwards.
