ASTM International Honors Roy De Lauder with Dieter-Hestermann Award

ASTM International’s asset management committee (E53) has honored Roy De Lauder, former specialist master with Deloitte and Touché, with its 2022 Dieter-Hestermann Award.

De Lauder was recognized for dedicated service and leadership to Committee E53 on asset management, particularly for coordinating property management in the process subcommittee.

An ASTM International member since 2007, De Lauder is also a consulting fellow and certified professional property manager at the National Property Management Assocation.

De Lauder has been volunteering and consulting since his retirement in 2016, but his long career has also included adjunct instruction, property management, and 22 years in the U.S. Navy. He earned a bachelor of arts in history from Clemson University in 1972, and a master of science in systems management from the University of Southern California in 1985.
