Proposed ASTM International Standard Classifies Cannabis Flower Vaporizers

A proposed ASTM International standard would be used to classify cannabis flower vaporizers. ASTM’s cannabis committee (D37) is developing the proposed standard (WK70326).

The goal of the proposed standard is to provide clarity to the industry, government, consumer, and the public when it comes to communicating the impacts of different vaporizers technologies on public health and safety. Members of the subcommittee on cannabis devices and appliances (D37.08) developed the proposed standard.

ASTM’s cannabis committee invites participation in the development of its standards. Become a member at www.astm.org/JOIN.
