ASTM International presented its top annual award – the 2023 Award of Merit – to Richard Rosati for his contributions to ASTM’s consumer products committee (F15).

The prestigious award, which includes the accompanying title of fellow, is ASTM’s highest recognition for distinguished service and outstanding participation in ASTM International committee activities. Rosati was recognized for his composed leadership, successful collaboration with families, consumer advocates, and industry.

An ASTM International member since 2002, Rosati had been previously honored by the committee with the Award of Recognition (2020), the Exemplary Leadership Award (2020) and the Outgoing Chair Award (2021).

Rosati currently serves as vice president of technical services and government affairs at Bureau Veritas, a position he has held since 2016. He received his bachelor of science in industrial technology from State University College at Buffalo (1985), and his master of business administration from St. Bonaventure University (2003).
