ASTM International Honors David Turner with Scroll of Achievement

David Turner, chair of ASTM D02.G on lubricating grease, has received the 2022 Sydney D. Andrews Scroll of Achievement from ASTM International for his contributions to the committee on petroleum products, liquid fuels, and lubricants (D02).

Turner was recognized for his many contributions to advancing the aims of the committee and the Society, and as an expression of high personal esteem, along with over 40 years of experience in the lubricants industry.

A long-time ASTM International member, Turner had been previously honored by the committee with Award of Excellence and the Eagle Award, along with a series of awards from NLGI.

Turner works as a senior technical services representative with the Lubricants Fluid Technology group of CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering, and he is also a member of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers.
