Kendra Adams, president of Blue Rock Labs, Inc., in Littleton, Colorado, USA, was honored with the A. Ivan Johnson Outstanding Achievement Award by ASTM International’s committee on soil and rock (D18).  

Adams was honored for her outstanding and significant contributions to the committee. She has previously been awarded the Richard S. Ladd Standards Development Award (2014, 2017).  

An ASTM International member since 2008, Adams has served in her current position since 2014, having previously held positions with Fugro Consultants and Geotechnology, Inc.  

Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in geology and geophysics, and a master’s degree in geological engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. 

In addition to ASTM International, Adams is a member of the Colorado Association of Geotechnical Engineers and the Society of Concrete Petrographers.
