David W. Parsonage of American Geosciences Joins ASTM International Board of Directors

David W. Parsonage, CHMM, vice president of American Geosciences Inc., Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA, will serve a three-year term on the ASTM International board of directors. 

American Geosciences offers environmental consulting services, including site assessments, remediation, and regulatory compliance. In his position, Parsonage directs technical operations, develops environmental service areas, ensures quality and client satisfaction, and manages technical professionals. 

Parsonage has been with American Geosciences since 1997, having previously served as a lead engineer and project manager with Flour Daniel GTI, and an engineer with Chester Environmental (formerly Keystone Environmental Resources). 

An ASTM International member since 2004, Parsonage served as the first vice chairman of the committee on environmental assessment, risk management, and corrective action (E50). He also completed a term on the committee on standards. 

Parsonage holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in forest resources from the Pennsylvania State University.
