Bryan Johnson Honored with Sydney D. Andrews Scroll of Achievement Award

ASTM International’s petroleum products, liquid fuels, and lubricants committee (D02), presented the Sydney D. Andrews Scroll of Achievement Award to Bryan Johnson, reliability engineer with Arizona Public Service (Tonopah, Arizona, USA).

An ASTM International member since 1994, Johnson was recognized for his many contributions to advancing the aims of the committee and organization as an expression of high personal esteem. The committee has previously honored Johnson with the Eagle Award, two Awards of Excellence, and the Award of Merit, with the accompanying title of fellow.

Johnson has held his current position with Arizona Public Service since 1991, having previously served as a field engineer at Naval Training Site Kesselring in West Milton, New York. His career concentration is mechanical and reliability engineering. Johnson holds master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and sustainability from Harvard University.

In addition to ASTM International, Johnson is a member and current chair of the board of ICML, a non-profit professional training certification organization. He is also on the advisory board for the Auburn University undergraduate tribology minor engineering program.
