Bonnie McWade-Furtado Joins ASTM International Board of Directors

Bonnie McWade-Furtado, associate research and development scientist at Cabor Corp. (Billerica, Massachusetts, USA), will serve a three-year term on the ASTM International board of directors. 

Cabot Corp. is a global specialty chemicals and performance materials company. 

McWade-Furtado has been with Cabot Corp. since 1993 when she joined the company as a research associate. She assumed her current role in 2000. 

An ASTM International member since 2003, McWade-Furtado is a member of the committees on carbon black (D24), recovered carbon black (rCB) (D36), and plastic piping systems (F17). 

McWade-Furtado holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from Northeastern University.
