ASTM International Award of Merit Recognizes Mark Melkerson

Mark Melkerson, director, Division of General, Restorative, and Neurological Devices of the Office of Device Evaluation within the Center for Devices and Radiological Health of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in Rockville, Md., received an ASTM International Award of Merit and the accompanying title of fellow, the highest organizational recognition for individual contributions to standards activities.

ASTM International Gary M. Kralik Award Given to Larry Parkinson

Larry L. Parkinson, former president of Interamerican Zinc Inc. in Coldwater, Mich., has received the Gary M. Kralik Distinguished Service Award from ASTM International.  Parkinson was recognized for his exceptional service to ASTM Committee B02 on Nonferrous Metals and Alloys.

ASTM International Honors Richard Danchik with Moyer D. Thomas Award

Richard Danchik, a consultant based in Pittsburgh, Pa., has received the Moyer D. Thomas Award from ASTM International Committee D22 on Air Quality.  The committee recognized Danchik "for outstanding achievement in the standardization of the sampling and analysis of atmospheres."
