ASTM International’s committee on publications presented the 2022 Charles B. Dudley Award to John Beswick. Established in 1925 in commemoration of the organization’s first president, Charles B.

ASTM International presented its top annual award – the Award of Merit – to Brad Finley for his contributions to ASTM’s committee on corrosion of metals (G01). 

ASTM International presented its top annual award – the Award of Merit – to Dr. Stephen Spiegelberg for his contributions to ASTM’s F04 Committee on Medical and Surgical Materials and Devices (F04).

ASTM International’s committee E33 on building and environmental acoustics presented the 2022 Wallace Waterfall Award to Kenneth P. Roy. He was recognized for his distinguished contributions to the development, preparation and acceptance of standards in acoustics.

Phalguni Mukhopadhyaya, Ph.D., a professor of building envelopes and structures at the University of Victoria, Canada, has received ASTM International’s 2022 Professor of the Year award.

ASTM International Honors Adam Sawicki with Composites Award

ASTM International presented its top annual award – the Award of Merit – to Bruce Darling for his contributions to ASTM’s roofing and waterproofing committee (D08).

Anthony Wayne Thornton, former member of the ASTM International board of directors, was awarded the William T. Cavanaugh Memorial Award at a ceremony held Oct. 19, during ASTM’s standards development meetings in New Orleans. Joining Thornton at the award ceremony were ASTM International President Kathie Morgan and Cesar Constantino, ASTM’s 2022 board chair.
