The ASTM International committee on metal powders and metal powder products (B09) is sponsoring the free Workshop on Powder Metallurgy, October 23, 2018, at the Washington Hilton, Washington, DC, USA. The workshop will take place in conjunction with the October standards development meetings of the committee.

The workshop, which will take place from 2:00-4:00 p.m. EST, is aimed at increasing awareness of powder metallurgy and the activities of the committee. The program will include an overview of the powder metallurgy field and flow characterization of metal powders.  

Workshop presenters include Dr. W. Brian James, ASTM International Fellow, and Roland Warzel III, of North American Hoganas.
