ASTM International’s Workshop on Update and Revision of ASTM G65 for New Abrasives will be held Dec. 10, 2024. The workshop is organized by ASTM’s committee on wear and erosion (G02) and will be held at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, California (USA) in conjunction with the December standards development meetings of the committee.

This workshop will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on current research on new or alternative abrasives. This event will be of interest to users of ASTM G65, equipment manufacturers, tribologists, coating manufacturers, coating applicators, and engineers needing wear-resistant coatings and materials.

Those interested in presenting at this workshop should submit a 250- to 300-word abstract pertaining to the above topics to the workshop chair John Hadjioannou (john@ethosengineering.com) by Sept. 30, 2025.
